Diagnose is now available on Android. The app is live on the Google Play Store and available to all active Diagnose users at no additional cost. It supports the full Diagnose workflow — ambient encounter capture note review and EHR push — on any Android device running version 10 or later.

Android has been the most requested platform since Diagnose launched on iOS in September 2025. We took longer than we wanted to because we were not willing to ship a version that performed differently from iOS. The ambient audio model needed to be validated across a wider range of Android device microphone configurations before we were confident in the accuracy.

What is the same and what is different

The Android app is functionally identical to iOS. Same note review screen same push to EHR workflow same specialty models. The one difference is the ambient listening indicator — on Android it sits in the notification tray rather than the status bar due to platform constraints. It has no effect on how Diagnose captures or processes the encounter.

Physicians who have been waiting for Android can download the app today and use it in their next encounter. Onboarding takes less than ten minutes for existing users. New users can start a 14 day free trial directly from the app.
